Flock Social Account Suspension & Ban Evasion Policy

At Flock Social, our rules exist to ensure a safe and open platform for all users while preventing abuse. To maintain fairness and security, we prohibit attempts to evade prior enforcement actions, including suspensions and bans.

1. What Violates This Policy?

The following behaviors are considered violations of this policy:

  • Ban Evasion: If an account has been permanently suspended for severe rule violations, Flock Social reserves the right to suspend any other accounts we determine to be operated by the same individual or entity.

  • Circumventing Suspensions: You may not attempt to bypass a Flock Social suspension, enforcement action, or anti-spam challenge. This includes:

    • Creating a new account to evade an enforcement action.

    • Repurposing an existing account to avoid detection.

    • Operating an account on behalf of a suspended user to help them continue engaging on the platform.

  • Account Takeovers: You may not allow a permanently suspended user to take control of your account, whether temporarily or permanently.

  • Impersonation for Ban Evasion: You may not create an account that imitates a previously banned account in an attempt to replace it. However, accounts for parody, commentary, newsfeeds, and fan content are allowed as long as they comply with our Impersonation & Parody Policy.

2. Consequences of Violating This Policy

The penalties for ban evasion depend on the severity of the violation and the user’s history of past offenses. These may include:

  • Permanent Suspension: If you attempt to bypass a ban by creating new accounts or repurposing old ones, you will be permanently suspended upon first detection.

  • Account Suspension for Evasion Attempts: Any account found to be actively circumventing a temporary suspension, lock, or restriction may also be subject to enforcement action.

  • Appeals Process: If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may submit an appeal through our Support Center at flocksocial.net/contactus

3. Banned Users & Content Restrictions

At Flock Social, we have strict policies regarding banned users and their content. If a user has been permanently suspended due to violations of our rules, the following restrictions apply:

  • No Use of Banned Content: Content posted by banned users—including but not limited to posts, media, or other materials—is not allowed to be used, shared, or featured on our platform.

  • No Reuploads or Reposts: Any attempt to repost, reshare, or reupload content from a banned user is strictly prohibited.

  • No Engagement from Banned Users: Banned users may not participate in any way, including:

    • Creating new accounts

    • Using another person's account to post, comment, or engage

    • Engaging with the platform through third-party means

We employ advanced detection systems to prevent ban evasion, ensuring that our community remains safe and fair for all users.

4. How to Appeal a Suspension

If you believe your account was suspended in error, we recommend:

  • Filing an appeal instead of creating a new account.

  • Complying with any required security challenges or actions to restore access.

📩 Submit an appeal here: flocksocial.net/contactus

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Flock Social a safe and engaging space for all users.
